Hi there folks, many thanks for dropping by and thanks for your interest in my 'obsession'

Being a self confessed 'Storch addict' and having built this wonderful plane from a number of plans over the years, I decided that I would design a range of no holds-barred replicas of my favourite aircraft, that would:

 

  • be a faithful reproduction of the original item in terms of build and flying characteristics.

  • not sacrifice scale accuracy for 'sport' handling

  • be rugged enough to handle regular flights, rather than being a polished hangar queen

A few years (and many dollars!) later, The 'Newman Storch' took shape in its early 1/5th scale form and took to the air. The finished model was so great to build, fly and enjoy, and demand for more models was so great, that I developed a larger, 1/4 scale and smaller 1/6th scale version, this website tells you all about my range of model designs.
